Who We Are
Bishop Gassis Relief and Rescue Foundation (BGRRF) is a Faith Based Organisation founded in 2016. The organization has grown out of the pastoral, humanitarian and development programmes of the Diocese of El Obeid (DoE), in Sudan and the Diocese of Wau in South Sudan. Emeritus Bishop Macram Max Gassis, former Bishop of El Obeid, founded the organization in 2016 to further the humanitarian and development services. The main projects include Food Security and Livelihood, Education, Water and Sanitation, Community media, Women Empowerment and Pastoral Services.
