At Bishop Gassis Relief and Rescue Foundation (BGRRF), we believe that self-reliance begins with skills. In regions where formal employment opportunities are scarce especially for women and youth, vocational training becomes a vital pathway out of poverty, dependence, and marginalization.
Our Skills Development program equips participants with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to build sustainable livelihoods, contribute to their communities, and support their families with dignity.
In conflict-affected and underdeveloped areas of Sudan and South Sudan, economic hardship is widespread. Women, young mothers, and displaced youth are often the most affected. Without access to formal education or vocational guidance, many are left with limited income-generating options and remain dependent on humanitarian aid.
Through skills training, BGRRF helps people turn their potential into productivity—while restoring confidence and control over their futures.
With more funding and partnerships, we can scale these life-changing programs to reach even more women and youth in need.
At Bishop Gassis Relief and Rescue Foundation (BGRRF) , we envision ‘Reconciled families united in God’s Love and leading dignified lives’.
