Gender-Based Violence (GBV) remains a harsh daily reality for many women and girls across Sudan and South Sudan. In communities affected by conflict, displacement, and inequality, the risk of violence, whether physical, emotional, economic, or sexual, is intensified by silence, stigma, and lack of protection systems.
At Bishop Gassis Relief and Rescue Foundation (BGRRF), we stand against all forms of violence and work to build safe, informed, and responsive communities that protect, empower, and uphold the God-given dignity of every human being.
We work with faith leaders, women’s groups, youth, and traditional authorities to raise awareness on the causes and consequences of GBV, and to challenge harmful norms and practices.
Our sessions include topics such as:
Human rights and gender justice
Early marriage and its impact on education and health
Domestic and intimate partner violence
Sexual exploitation and abuse
Positive masculinity and healthy relationships
Whether through education, shelter, or spiritual support, your partnership helps prevent violence and promote dignity where it’s needed most.
At Bishop Gassis Relief and Rescue Foundation (BGRRF) , we envision ‘Reconciled families united in God’s Love and leading dignified lives’.
